LangDraft. Plan smarter. Build brighter.

Architectural drafting shouldn't require learning complicated software.

I bought my dad a computer specifically so he could create his architectural drawings digitally. I set everything up for him, but the software was so complicated that he eventually went back to drawing his plans by hand.

That didn't make sense to me. Someone who understands how a house should be designed shouldn't also need to become a CAD expert just to put that design on a computer.

That's what LangDraft is trying to change.

Built for people who know buildings.

LangDraft is for architects, residential designers, draftspeople, builders, contractors, and remodelers who want a more approachable way to draw. Especially the experienced professionals who still reach for a pencil because the software gets in their way.

Draw a wall. Enter its length. Add a window and choose its size. Switch to an elevation and work with that same opening.

Professional ambition. An approachable start.

LangDraft is in active development. Today’s editor focuses on a single floor, coordinated exterior elevations, simple main roofs, room areas, and familiar furniture symbols. The next stages are professional sheets, exact-scale printing, site design, and secure saved projects.

The goal is architectural drafting without the CAD learning curve.

LangDraft is a drafting and design tool. Drawings are not automatically code compliant, structurally engineered, permit approved, or professionally stamped. Qualified professionals must verify the design and dimensions. Current image and PDF exports are fit-to-page concept drawings, not exact-scale construction documents.
